The Neoplan logo was developed in 1953 for innovative buses produced by NEOMAN Bus, a subsidiary of MAN AG.
The logo has not changed throughout the history of the brand. Originally it was created specifically for bus production, so when placing on buses a minimized version of the logo was used, and in printing and advertising – enhanced with a stylized image of the bus.
The font, which included all the components of the classic logo – the graphic central element and the base was designed for the logo. And the basis for this were the stylized elements of the letter A. Prolonged to this continuation and the special status of the first letter of the alphabet (and Neoplan was originally a very ambitious trademark and claimed to be the first in this market), it was singled out as the most significant (including, higher), than other, unified in size and form, an element of the logo.
